Noor Mahan solar power plant with photovoltaic technology and a capacity of 10 MW was put into operation in August 1397. This power plant is located on a land area of 21.8 hectares and at a distance of 1500 meters from the Mahan power substation. This region is one of the top regions in Iran due to the amount of radiation and high altitude and relatively cool temperature in terms of solar energy production.
